Whole Toor Dal
The Whole Toor Dal is one of the lentils that is widely used in India. It is also known as Pigeon Peas Lentils, Toovar dal, Tuvar Dal, Arhar Dal, Peeli Dal or Yellow Dal in various regions. It is a type of lentil and is also known as pigeon peas. This dish / curry preparation is spicy, tangy (comes with the use of tamarind), and sweet(sweetness comes from the jaggery). Whole Toor Dal can be served with rice or rotis for lunch or dinner.
